Terrell Owens Injury Update

Terrell Owens is an interesting figure among Philadelphia Eagles fans. Owens signed with the Eagles prior to the 2004 season and went on to have a successful season despite suffering an injury, a broken leg in mid-December. Somehow, he recovered from the injury in time to play in the Super Bowl that year catching nine passes for 122 yards in an Eagles loss.
The following season is when all hell broke loose. T.O. complained about his contract -- he was entering the second season of a seven-year, $49 million deal -- and threatened to hold out of training camp. Ultimately, he was suspended four games by the Eagles for some of his actions.
SB Nation's Bleeding Green Nation has reacted to the news that Owens suffered a torn ACL -- reportedly while filming a show for VH1 -- and that could be out six months. BGN calls it a "unfortunate microcosm of his career."
It's a good point. No one denies T.O.'s talent as one of the best receivers to ever play the game but he was also one of the biggest headaches for nearly every team he played for.
