One Direction singer arrives to play for Doncaster Rovers reserves

Pop star Louis Tomlinson made a cameo appearance for his hometown club Doncaster Rovers in a reserves game

A different type of fan flocked to Doncaster Rovers' Keepmoat Stadium on Wednesday as pop star Louis Tomlinson made a cameo appearance for his hometown club in a reserves game.
Thousands of young followers and parents came to see Tomlinson play for the team he also supports, with many waiting hours to catch a glimpse of the 22 year-old.
The One Direction singer featured in a charity game at the Keepmoat in 2012.
A planned appearance last September was cancelled after Tomlinson was injured by Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor in another charity match the previous week.
The publicity stunt was organised to help raise funds for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice after Tomlinson signed a non-contract deal with Doncaster last summer.
